According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool’s City Council has shown commitment to working with Everton on their plan’s for building a brand new stadium on a yet unknown location.

Backup but no funding

Back in 2013 Everton revealed plans on switching from their good old Goodison Park to a brand new 50.000 capacity stadium somewhere within the boundries of Liverpool.

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone showed optimism and excitement during the club’s 2014 General Members Meeting, letting us know that there’s a particular site (unknown) on the agenda where we will most likely see a new Everton stadium somewhere in the future.

Liverpool’s City Councel expressed their support in finding a new location for Everton’s next stadium, but didn’t show any signs of financial support. Whether or not this is definitive decision has yet to be seen.
