08 Card becomes One Card
1. Is my 08 Card still valid?
Your 08 Card is valid until the end of April 2011 by which time you should have received your new One Card in the mail. (If you haven’t received your One Card by 1st May 2011 please click here to re-register your details and we will send you a card.
2. Why haven’t I received a One Card?
Your One Card may not have been sent yet
One Cards will be posted out to existing 08 cardholders from 11th April 2011 onwards and you should receive yours by 1st May 2011.
You live outside the re-issuance distribution area
One Cards have been automatically distributed to all existing cardholders living in Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire, Flintshire, Lancashire and Manchester. If you live outside of these areas and visit the City Region you are still very welcome to apply for a card.
If you have registered on the 08Card website and do live within the areas mentioned and still haven't received your card, it may be that we do not have accurate postal information for you. Please login to the One Card website, update your details and request a replacement card. If this doesn't work, please request a new card by creating a new account.
We did not have the correct mailing details for you at the time of distribution
If you live within the re-issuance distribution area (as outlined above) and have not received a card by 1st May 2011, it’s possible that we don’t have your up-to-date mailing address. Please click here to re-register your details and we will send you a card.

We also have a limited number of FREE smart transport cards available for existing One Card holders, upgrade today to receive yours.

One Card Scheme
1. How do I activate my One Card?
Your One Card is pre-activated and ready to use as soon as you receive it.
2. How much does it cost?
Your One Card is FREE.
3. When I apply online how do I receive my card?
Once you have applied for a card your new One Card will be posted out to your home address. (Please allow up to 28 days for your card to arrive).
4. Who is eligible for a One Card?
The One Card is designed for residents and commuters within Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region, although any UK resident can apply for a One Card.

Smart Transport
As part of their continued efforts to improve services and the ethos of 'Putting the Passenger First', Merseytravel's Smart Ticketing Initiative will begin the implementation of Smart Ticketing over the next three years to improve the customer experience, delivering a range of new ticketing products across the Merseyside Region. During this phase, Smart Transport One Cards may be used on the CityLink C-bus services.

What’s On Guide
1. How do I add an event to the What’s On Guide?
Visit News & Events > What’s On and click Add Your Event. Follow the instructions and complete the required fields.
One Card Newsletter
1. How can I sign up to receive One Card newsletters?
By applying for a One Card you are automatically signing up to receive our monthly One Card newsletters.
2. How will I receive the newsletter?
We send out a new newsletter towards the end of each month to the email address you have registered with us.
3. How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
There will be an 'unsubscribe' link on every newsletter we send. Should you choose not to receive information about our latest offers, competitions and local events, please click this link and you will be automatically unsubscribed.
4. How can I add an offer to the newsletter?

1. How do I download the One Card iPhone app?
Download the One Card Liverpool app here [iTunes].
Alternatively, from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (iOS 3.0 and higher), search the App Store for 'One Card Liverpool' and download the app to your device.
2. Is the app available on other smart phones?
Currently, the app is not available on other mobile platforms. However, we continue to investigate the possibility of developing specific versions for other platforms such as Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile 7.
